What’s worse is that long time creators who we put our trust into was literally doing all of this shady stuff, which is just hurtful and once again, messed up. I didn’t want to go private like discord yk, I still wanted to share my creations without them up my ass. The only reason I started Patreon personally, was because of the whole Simsdom (now Simsfinds) issue so I could sort of have a barrier for a certain amount of time. This is a sims game and other people shouldn’t be ruining it OR breaking the law?! I even thought about just removing my tiers altogether since even tho the prices are set very low, I still feel bad for charging most of the time.
I do not track any of my patrons, hell if I was smart enough to do that I’d get a job with that skill lmao, jokes aside the whole situation in general is so messed up. Seen a lot of stuff about big creators tracking their patrons and stuff etc. Gshade so far has been quicker and easier for me to use, it only just lagged a bit the first time I loaded my preset and set it up, but since then it’s been fine. Install Gshade from their website > here Game> Bin> gshade-presets> Custom (If you’re familiar with reshade you will find this easily)Īnd there you have it you have Gshade! Open up your game and see if it works if not then I have no idea why as this is the exact steps I took sorry! One thing I urge you to do though is after removing reshade open sims to MAKE SURE that you actually did remove it sucessfully, as you don’t want to have both.Because I am unhinged and hate watching tutorials/reading instructions I wanted to make a quick guide on how I installed gshade! this guide is gonna assume you already removed reshade but if you haven’t yet please go and do that and backup your presets into a folder somewhere!! this is the video I watched for that
